The weekend starts with a bang on friday night with five venues, try not to burn your self out on the first night cos the best is yet to come.
There are more than eight venues on site at Butlins Skegness.
Reds a large venue with capacity of 2000 people
Centre Stage all the top acts this has a capacity of over 2200
Jacks this is the Butlins night club holding 700 people
The Pavilion is the heart of Butlins and looks a bit like a circus tent holds 4000 bods
Sun and moon a traditional pub serving food till 9
Front lounge a wine bar and coffee house combined
Sports Bar Large lcd tvs showing sky sports, 9 pool tables next to the eight lane bowling alley
Saturday morning go for breakfast or dinner depending on how good the night before was. I like the copper kettle in Ingoldmells 15 min walk from the Butlins caravan village.
Saturday the big night, this is the night when the girls wear not very much! and the boys are dressed in the weirdest and funniest costumes they can find (with the exception of the 60s weekend) if you're not in fancy dress you will feel the odd one out! The variety of costumes and the effort and ingenious of people amazes me! there are some photos on our facebook page, please have a look. .If you're not big into dressing up put a hat, dark glasses and a jacket on and you're one of the Blues Brothers simple. All the big weekends tend to be good natured with no trouble, the biggest problem seems to be finding your way back to your caravan after ten pints, 4 frozen shots, 4 whiskey chasers and something that tasted like cough mixture! oh and finding the person with the keys who you last saw dancing with an umpalumpa in reds 4 hours ago!.
Top tip always keep your eye on who has got the caravan keys & never dance with a umpalumpa.
The Prices on the website do not include any passes these are charged at £25.00 per person, in addition there is a Breakages Bond this is £20. Per person and will be refunded to you after the caravan has been checked for any damage.
Please Remember the beds have matress protectors on them please remember to take your own sheets, pillowcases, quilt covers and towels (these can be provided for you if you're too lazy to take your own, or travelling by train at an additional cost of £35) and put them on because if you get make up, blood fake or real on the bed protectors or quilts you will be charged for the cleaning or replacements.

Tip if you are after a good cheap drink before the entertainment or for breakfast I can reccomend Sealands pub out the caravan village turn left then keep right.
Sunday night a lot of people have gone home due to work commiments or kids but If your standing and up for one more drink Butlins normally put some good entertainment on in Reds and Centre Stage to try and keep you buying alcohol.
Monday Morning you are requied to vacate the caravan by 10am please remember if you were drinking the night before you are probably over the limit! you can stay onsite at butlins till 5pm
Buying beer and wine to take away, there are two shops on the butlins resort that sell alcohol, one on the caravan village and a larger spar shop in the pavillion. Off site there are local off licences in Ingoldmells and on ther A518 towards Skegness but if you're after a superstore there is a Tesco, Lidl and Morrison's in Skegness about 5 miles away. Exit through the caravan village, turn right heading towards Skegness, drive to the end of the road superstores are all in front of you.
If you want a cheap pint in a nightclub environment visit Summerlands, they have a fast food bar and to give you an idear of what its like, this is where all the red coats and other butlins staff go for a good night. I took my dog there once (the four legged type I hasten to add) Yes I took my dog to a nightclub! thats skegness for you!
Tip don't eat any food that is situated next to a garage near Butlins caravan village! If you want fast food there is a chip shop in the butlins pavillion, a burger king and papa johns pitza. If you dont want to pay butlins prices, go out of butlins main entrance, turn left, cross at the crossing they do a nice fish and chips but do not do kebabs! if you want to eat healthy although god only knows why when you are on a drinking holiday! lol in the coffee shop in the pavillion they sell nice hot patatos and salad.
Don't lose your wristband you will be charged a minimum of £50 by Butlins for a replacement.
If you decide to make a nuisance of yourselves, damage any property or use threatening behaviour Butlins reserves rhe right to remove you, your colleagues and your property from the Butlins resort immediately without your or our prior consent. And they have & will!
