Caravan Terms and Conditions

By booking and paying for your holiday, you are accepting the terms and conditions listed below: 

  1. Group bookings
    We are unable to accept bookings from groups of single-sex persons under 30 years of age (with the exception of adult weekends).
  2. Behaviour and conduct
    Butlins is a family holiday park and anyone whose unreasonable conduct causes a nuisance may be asked to leave, forfeiting the rest of their holiday.
  3. Pets
    Pets are not allowed to stay in the caravans unless prior arrangement has been made with the owners and breed of dog has been declared on the booking form.

    1. Anyone found with a pet that is not on the booking form will be asked to leave.
    2. Dogs must be kept on a lead while on the caravan site and are not permitted in the main Butlins Resort.
  4. No smoking is allowed in the caravan
    IF you smoke in the caravan, you will be charged a £150 deep cleaning charge.
  5. Insurance
    We, the owners of Cindy’s Caravans can accept NO responsibility for any loss or damage to cars, belongings or personal injury occurring whilst staying in our caravans, and we recommend that you purchase some form of holiday insurance, as there is no insurance included in the price of your holiday.
  6. Butlins passes and entertainment
    The price of your holiday includes passes into the Butlins Resort. Details of passes and how to collect the keys will be sent to you on receipt of the full holiday amount.
    Any changes to the advertised entertainment or facilities on the camp are beyond our control, and we cannot except any responsibility for this.
  7. Holiday cancellation charges
    1. The deposit is £100 per caravan break 
    2. Up to 8 weeks from holiday commencement date – deposit only 
    3. 6-8 weeks from holiday commencement date – deposit plus 25% of total holiday costs. 
    4. 4-6 weeks from holiday commencement date – deposit plus 50% of total holiday costs. 
    5. 3-4 weeks from holiday commencement date – deposit plus 75% of total holiday costs. 
    6. 0-3 weeks from holiday commencement date – 100% of total holiday costs.
  8. Damages and repairs
    We cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss caused by the use of washing machines, dishwashers, televisions, DVD players, Play Stations, Freeview boxes, boilers, microwaves and freezers etc.
    We cannot be held responsible should one of these items not work or breakdown, however, we will do our best to repair the item as soon as possible. The condition of these items reliant on paying guests leaving them clean and tidy and how they’d expect to find them.
    Every effort will be made to repair any equipment that is faulty or stopped working.
    We cannot make any refunds for items not working.
  9. Paying your balance
    The FULL amount of your holiday will need to be paid at least 8 WEEKS before your holiday start date.
    Should you book your holiday 8 weeks or less before the start date, the full amount will be due immediately. Please note a reminder will not be issued for this payment.
    We ask for a non-refundable deposit of £100 for your let. The deposit needs to be paid and the final balance on the dates we specify. If your final payments for either are not paid on time, we reserve the right to cancel your holiday and re-let your caravan with no refund.
  10. Alteration fees
    Please ensure that you complete our Butlins Skegness booking form accurately, (Butlins Skegness Caravan Village charge for alterations and late submission of booking forms). Failure to do so could result in you forfeiting your holiday or additional charges levied by Butlins. Any changes made to your booking after it has been passed to Butlins will incur an amendment fee from Butlins.
    Bookings taken less than 14 days of arrival will incur a late booking fee from Butlins.
  11. Cleaning and damages bond
    An additional £50 bond (but not limited to) will be billed to the hirer of the caravan to cover breakages and or damage. This will be refunded at the end of your stay after the caravan has been inspected, checked for damage and confirmed clean and tidy.
    You must report any damage or anything unsatisfactory to Cindy’s Caravans or Butlins reception on your arrival, after this time, the responsibility of any damages will be yours (if breakages and or damage that have happened during your stay not reported to Cindy’s Caravans before you vacate the caravan additional charges may be levied).
    The caravan must be left in a clean and tidy condition.
    The hirer is responsible for all members of the party and must make good any losses, breakages, or damage done to the caravan or its contents during their stay.  
  12. Arrival and departure times
    In order for the caravan to be cleaned and checked, departures must be made before 10am on the day of departure and no keys will be released before 4pm on the day of arrival without prior arrangement with the caravan owner.
  13. Extra guests
    Extra guests cannot, under any circumstances, be added to your Butlins holiday on the day of arrival or when checking in. You will not be permitted entrance, nor will you be allowed to purchase extra passes that have not been pre-booked with Cindy’s Caravans. Any additional guests will be turned away and refused access to Butlins and the caravan site.
  14. Supervising children
    Parents and guardians have the responsibility of supervising their children at all times to ensure the safety of their children whilst in the caravan. It is also the responsibility of parents and guardians to inform Butlins reception on arrival of any dangers in the caravan specific to them and their children that may need attention. There may be games and media inappropriate for children of different ages – it is the responsibility of parents and guardians to supervise age appropriate games and media.
  15. Privacy
    We do not store your any of your financial details (credit or debit card numbers) in any format. We will not sell or use your details other than to liaise with you about your booking. Read about data protection.
  16. Should accommodation booked become unavailable we will offer a full refund.
  17. In the case of any dispute our decision is final.
